Tender Title-TENDER FOR THE SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF VARIOUS COMBI UNITS AND ACCESSORIES TO GABORONE, PALAPYE AND FRANCISTOWN WAREHOUSES- UNDER VENDOR MANAGED STOCK FOR TWO (2) YEARS
Sealed Tender offers are invited for the supply and delivery of various combi units and accessories to Gaborone, Palapye and Francistown warehouses- under vendor managed stock for two (2) years
• The Procuring Entity is Botswana Power Corporation
• Procurement Method is: Open Domestic Bidding Method, Restricted to 100% citizen-owned companies.
• Tenderers who are domiciled in Botswana must, to be considered for the award of the contract, be registered with the Public
Procurement Regulatory Authority in the following categories:
Code 203- Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, Fire and ICT Supplies Sub code 01-
Electrical and Electronic Equipment, Spares and Accessories (includes ICT, photographic equipment, and others)
• The tender is reserved for 100% citizen companies as stated under section 76 (2) of the Public Procurement Act.
• Where applicable, Price Preference Margins will be applied to qualifying bidders in line with the prescribed preference schemes:
❖ The Economic Diversification Drive (EDD) will apply for this tender as per the Presidential Directive Cab 34(b) 2014; attach EDD Certificate,
❖ 15% preference shall be applied based on Presidential Directive CAB II (A) on targeted groups (Youth, Women and people with disability) in accordance with the
Local Procurement policy preference margin where applicable. The bidder shall submit proof of eligibility.
❖ The preference scheme providing the highest applicable margin or benefit shall be applied. A bidder shall not benefit from both preference schemes concurrently.

• Documents will be emailed during working hours between 07:30hrs and 16:30hrs.
A non-refundable deposit of BWP 1,100.00 payable by cash or bank-guaranteed cheque made out in favour of the Government of Botswana or the procuring entity stated in the tender document is required on collection of the tender documents.
• Youth will be required to pay a deposit of BWP550.00 (Proof or documentation to be provided).
